Experience Making This Piece:
When I first found out about Tactile Colour, I thought that it was a really great idea. Since my head injury and partial loss of sight back in 1981, I have found it quite difficult to express myself in colourful ways. I wanted to make something lasting and this is a fun way to do it.

Tactile Colour Used: Fine gritty blue, rough gritty green, soft bumpy orange, raised line pink, gridded black and very slightly bumpy tan.

Tactile Description:
The bottom of the picture is a gridded black wall. On top of the wall in the center is a fine gritty blue pool of water, with a rough gritty green border between the water and the wall. A very slightly bumpy tan border shows the space between the fountain and the background in smooth white card. The background is also filled with sunset rays of soft bumpy orange, as the sun goes down, with sunsetting colors spreading out on both sides. The raised line pink spot on the black wall is a reflection of the setting sun.
