Maddy is in grade 11 and goes to Ballenas Secondary School in Parksville, B.C. Maddy loves to ride horses, travelling to Mexico and baking up Christmas cookies with her good buddy Chloe. Chloe Poucher is in grade 11 as well and goes to Ballenas Secondary School. She is on the school cheerleading team, loves baking and her cats and has always been interested in art.

Experience Making This Piece:
Maddy and Chloe like having fun in the snow and winter outside and came up with the idea of a snowman in the falling snow.

Tactile Colour Used: Very fine gritty grey, smooth white, soft rubbery red, gridded black, rough grittty green and soft bumpy orange.

Tactile Description:
At the bottom of the picture there is white snow on the ground. The sky is grey in the background with little smooth white snowflakes falling everywhere. In the middle of the picture a white snowman sits with five gridded black buttons and two black stick arms reaching up with gritty green gloves on, one to hold his black hat on with a soft rubbery red band on it and another to wave. He has an soft bumpy orange carrot nose and a nice smile.
